Exclusion and Return Prevention

Wildlife Damage!

Roof Vent Covers

There are multiple types of roof vents that are used for ventilation. Unfortunately each one has a weakness, whether it is plastic or aluminum. We install a 20 gauge galvanneal steal vent cover right over the top that will prevent the nosy raccoon or knawing squirrel from gaining access into your attic. Your vents don't have to be damaged for a critter to get inside. Protect your biggest investment by installing these covers!!

Gable Vents

These vents are notorious for raccoons and bats! They are a very thin aluminum vent with a screen on the inside that is usually used for windows. If it is brand new a raccoon can still push through it. Bats love to roost in between the luevers and leave behind a stinky/nasty mess on the ground right below. Over time the acidity from their guano will eventually rot the screen where they can gain access into the attic. Have us install LVG to keep them out!

Roof Returns (SRI)

This area is where the shingles of one pitch of the roof meets the soffit of another. Bats especially love these spots because they are able to land on the roof and crawl into the attic. Roofers leave these open most of the time and it's basically like leaving your patio door cracked open, easy access point for squirrels and mice to traipse right into your attic. This is the number one area we look at when inspecting a home, they are sealed efficiently to keep bats, squirrels and mice out!

Turbines

These are the big fan looking thing that turns on your roof all the time. Raccoons and birds love breaking into them. There is no type of screen on the inside and so if it stops spinning due to damage or just no ventilation, it is a straight shot right into your attic.

Chimney without a Cap

Hollow trees are a natural safe place in the wild for rearing young. Raccoon momma's are always looking at open chimneys to have their babies. if you don't have a cap, she just found a perfect place to raise her kits. Don't wait until you start hearing something. Birds also love your chimney!

Foundation Vent

Foundation vents is a great place for an opossum to get out of the weather or a mouse to find an easy access into the kitchen. They are usually open or have very thin wire over them. We install lvg pieces to keep out the wildlife.
